This is my page for barns, equipment, (besides tack) and mini- reviews on new horses. This isn’t much of an intro, but that’s pretty much the purpose of this page.
********************************

I’m almost completely done with my Schleich barn! I only need the hay, hay storage barn, and the picnic tables. The current livestock count is one Sheep, one ram, one lamb, one Shropshire sheep, two Shropshire lambs, one dwarf Shetland pony, one Jenny, one donkey foal, Two miniature donkeys, two Fallabella miniature horses, two teacup pigs, one Icelandic pony mare, one rabbit, one chicken, one rooster, one Nigerian dwarf goat, two mixed breed goats, Holstein bull, cow, and calf, Simmental bull, cow and calf, one golden retriever dog, and one Chocolate lab. I’m waiting on one potbelly pig, another Icelandic mare, and an Icelandic stallion.
The arena is the newest edition, and I think it turned out really cool! It is based off of a real one.
********************************

Yay, it’s Valentine’s day! And I get to add this little girl to my herd! She is the Schleich Mini Shetty mare.
********************************

I just picked these guys up at the thrift store! They’re missing legs and vintage, but I have decided that my next project is to make the grey a prosthetic leg. So, wish me luck!
********************************

Saddle racks! So happy! My dad and I made these off of my own design. I mostly use them for saddles and bridles, and for boarder’s personal things, but I made them long enough to be harness racks too.
********************************

And harness racks. These are much more simple and just have one hook on the front for hanging bridles.
********************************

And, for the sake of it, we made halter and lead rope hangers. This one sits on a rail or fence, but I’m in the process of making one with legs.
********************************

The Collecta Fjord stallion! I was worried that the paint job wouldn’t be very good, but he’s actually pretty nice. He has nice hairing details, and the traditional fjord markings.(dorsal stripe, shaded legs, stand-up mane) All his hooves are carved out, and I love the detail in the face. My only complaint is that his left back hoof isn’t on the ground, so he tips.
********************************

This is the Collecta Dartmoor Pony stallion. He’s adorable, tiny, and has incredible detailing. The sculpting on him is amazing, especially on the face, neck, mane, and hooves. He is only three inches tall. The only con is that he is completely black, including his hooves. The mane and tail might have an undercoat of brown, but I can’t tell.
(Please excuse the wired lighting. NONE of my photos are edited.)
********************************

Introducing the Collecta Shire mare. She is definitely the largest and heaviest (literally) of the three. I like the free mane and tail, and the fact that you can see the spine and hip bones. She just looks like a gentle drafter who works in the fields. Con: her right front hoof is lifted of the ground.
********************************

It’s Christmas Eve and everyone is excited! Everything’s decorated and ready for the new herd mates.(hopefully) HD (Big Chex To Cash) and Euro (Schleich Shetland pony gelding)seem to be ready too!

********************************

Limited edition mule, jubilation! It’s Christmas day and he was one of my new additions. He is super cute, and has a nice face. He has four tall stockings, a patch on his stomach, around his tail, and on the right side of the neck. He actually has tri- colored eyes and crisp markings. I would definitely pick him up of you get the chance!

********************************

Rhapsody in Black. Such a beautiful horse. (In both model and horse form) At first I thought, “Why would I get a horse in that position?” And, “I’ve heard so many stories about the mold being tippy.” But, she is definitely worth having. She is flat black, with one white sock, a star, and a tiny snip. I don’t mind when breyers are flat black, as long as the hooves are grey.( Which her’s are) She was sculpted by Bridgette Eberl, so the mold is beautiful. You really have to see the mold to appreciate it.
********************************

Hickory Hills Wall Street!! Two long ears in one day! The only con about him is that he should have been released on the companion animals donkey, instead of this one. With that said, he’s adorable! He’s just sitting there looking cute. He has leg-barring and the cross in his back. He too has tri- colored eyes, and is a red dun. One thing about him that was surprising was how big he is. I’ll put a comparison photo in for you to see.

********************************

I rearranged my barns today, and I’m pretty happy with the new arrangement. It makes my paddocks a lot smaller, but now I have a training/tack-up area.

********************************

Yay!! I finally thought up a barn name and made myself a sign! This will be my logo for my barns and tack.
Please do not use my barn name or logo. It is my personal logo and name for my model horse barns, tack, and equipment.
********************************
Happy day!!! Sleekwing Thunderbolt has arrived! He is my first on the silver mold, and oh my goodness. He is gorgeous. He is actually the Silver Dun Treasure Hunt horse.
********************************

So, my Schleich barn has been assembled. Mostly. More updates on each building coming soon.
********************************
Please excuse the TERRIBLE lighting of these photos. I don’t know how to fix it. But anyway, this is the barn/mini tack room that has my miniature teacup pigs and a rabbit. Also, I got a new dog! Her name is Shira, and she’s the 2017 chocolate lab. All the Schleich come out in Germany before anywhere else. But, that’s off topic and a long story…
********************************

And this is the Fallabellas barn. It’s pretty self explanatory. Although I must say that I think the slanted roof is pretty cute.
********************************

Next up: the equine barn. Unfortunately, no gate gaurds yet. It’s still a work in progress.
